What You Will Be Doing   

The Research Support Administration Officer will provide administrative and operational support to senior academic staff at the Ngarnga Centre (Frankston Hospital site). Responsibilities include scheduling meetings and events, assisting with research projects, supporting staff recruitment, and coordinating with finance departments for budget reconciliation. The role will also involve processing honorary researcher applications and managing Monash University Adjunct/Affiliate positions. Additionally, the officer will assist with room bookings, workstation allocations, and other daily operational needs of the Centre.

What You Need  

We anticipate you will have:  

  • Extensive experience as an Administration Officer / Personal Assistant or similar, or assisting a Head of Unit, Department or School in a previous role. 
  • Experience working within a health service or university with operational knowledge of the tertiary education and research sector and health sector.
  • Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office). 
  • Current Victorian driver's license and the ability to travel to other Peninsula Health sites or University Campuses
