What You Will Be Doing  

The ‘Revenue Officer – MBS Billing/Auditor’ position is an integral and valued member of the wider Revenue Services team. This role is responsible for all tasks associated with billing of private and compensable patients (Doctor consultation and procedure) for both inpatient and outpatient services, receipting, and debt follow up. The Officer will ensure regular audits, ensure all claiming for doctors are compliant against guidelines, agreement and policy. What You Need 

We anticipate you will have: 

• Previous experience in MBS billing and understanding of general MBS billing requirements 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

• Previous experience with Microsoft Office in particular, Excel

• Previous experience using iPM, Zedmed or Clover software (desirable)
