What You Will Be Doing 

Using your extensive experience in both clinical work and education, you will shape the future of this newly funded educator position and support the future of Social Work practice at Peninsula Health.  You will work collaboratively with other leaders, educators and colleagues to plan, develop, implement and evaluate education and training for Social Workers, supporting the delivery of effective clinical care  This role will provide the opportunity to work strategically to implement evidence based clinical and educational practices and you will be supported to lead a culture of reflective practice and continuous learning.  You will remain closely connected to early career Social Workers, supporting their orientation and using your mentoring skills.  You will be a member of the Social Work leadership team and work collaboratively with a growing clinical education team.

What You Need  

The following qualifications and/or experience are essential for this position:  

  • Eligibility for the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering clinical education   
  • Demonstrated experience in a range of clinical settings  
  • Demonstrated knowledge of adult and experiential learning principles and their application ·  
  • Experience in implementing change and/or service improvement   
  • Proven ability to work in a team and effectively engage with a range of stakeholders  
  • High level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

*Please refer to salary circular for Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021 – 2026 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
