What You Will Be Doing
An opportunity exists for a Grade 1 Social Worker Social Worker to join the Peninsula Health Social Work Department in the Women’s and Children’s team. This role is available on a fixed term, full time basis until December 2025 and will provide high quality social work services across both inpatient and outpatient settings including Children’s Ward, the Paediatric Diabetes Clinic, birthing & maternity services. You will be responsible for completing psychosocial assessments, providing support to infants, children & families and will demonstrate a sound knowledge of child development and safety. You will work within experienced and specialised multi-disciplinary teams including both internal and external service providers. You will receive regular supervision to enhance your professional development.

• You will need to hold a Bachelor Degree or Qualifying Masters in Social Work. Post graduate studies are highly regarded and may be eligible for a higher education allowance.
• As a multi-site organisation you may be required to work across sites. You will have access to our extensive pool of fleet cars and will need a Victorian Drivers licence.

*Please refer to salary circular for Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021 – 2026 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
