What You Will Be Doing
An opportunity exists for a new graduate or early career Social Worker to join the Peninsula Health Social Work Department on a full time, permanent basis. As a Grade 1 Social Worker on the rotations program, you will be supported to develop your career in health and work across a range of settings including acute and subacute wards. You will receive regular supervision and additionally be supported to participate in seminars specifically designed to enhance your professional development. Grade 1 Social Workers work collaboratively as part of multi-disciplinary teams and are supported by dedicated Site Senior Social Workers. Grade 1 Social Workers work respectfully with consumers and their carers to complete psychosocial assessments, plan interventions, respond to risk and contribute dynamically to discharge planning.

What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
• You will need to hold a Bachelor Degree or Qualifying Masters in Social Work. Post graduate studies are highly regarded and may be eligible for a higher education allowance.
• As a multi-site organisation you may be required to work across sites. You will have access to our extensive pool of fleet cars and will need a Victorian Drivers licence.

*Please refer to salary circular ALLIED HEALTH PROFESSIONALS (VICTORIAN PUBLIC SECTOR) (SINGLE INTEREST EMPLOYERS) ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT 2021- 2026 for Salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
