The Team & Role 

The Specialist Pain Medicine Physician will be part of integrated Pain consultation- liaison service and will be running an outpatient session at The Mornington Centre/Peninsula University Hospital.

Key duties and responsibilities

• Provide high quality evidence based clinical care.
• Promote the delivery of excellence in patient care in collaboration with other specialty services and General Practitioners in the community
• Be aware of and work in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Contribute to training of Pain Fellow at Peninsula Health.
• Participate in clinical risk, quality and research activities within the unit.
• Promote high standards of educational support for all team members

Skills & Experience Required 

• Must hold MBBS or equivalent
• Current AHPRA registration
• Specialist Pain Medicine Physician qualification - FFPMANZCA or equivalent
• Demonstrating excellent Interpersonal relationship building skills
• Proven ability to Implement change within a complex environment
