The Team & Role
Reporting to the Operations Director – Medicine & Dialysis Services, the Senior Administration Officer (HS3) provides high‑level administrative coordination and operational support across a diverse portfolio including Diabetes Education, Home Oxygen Service, Lung Function, Neurophysiology Respiratory Research, Sleep Laboratory and the broader Medicine Department. Working closely with clinical leads and multidisciplinary teams, the role ensures services operate smoothly, efficiently and in line with health service requirements. Key responsibilities include managing day‑to‑day workflows, maintaining administrative systems, coordinating reporting, supporting compliance and accreditation activities, and providing secretariat support for meetings. The position also oversees the non‑clinical administration of the Home Oxygen Service, including referral management, stakeholder liaison and service optimisation to ensure effective resource utilisation. Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential to support high‑quality service delivery across these specialised areas.
