•    Classification: Allied Health  (Social Worker, Psychologist) - Grade 3 (Year 1-4*)

The Team & Role

As the Team Leader Men’s Services you are responsible for leading high quality interventions across the Mens Behaviour Change Program and Taskforce Alexis with the ultimate goal of improving safety for women and children affected by family violence. This crucial role requires a complex understanding of the drivers of family violence and best practice approaches to support men achieve stability and safety in their lives.

Skills & Experience Required

•    Tertiary Qualification in Social Work/Psychology/Social Science or related fields. 
•    Qualifications must align with the Mandatory Minimum Qualification Requirements for Specialist Family Violence Practitioner (Recommendation 209)
•    Experience in leading teams in the family violence sector
•    Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills in working with adults using family violence including assessment, risk management and safety planning
•    Current Victorian driver’s licence, Working with Children Check and a satisfactory police check. 

Key Selection Criteria 

•    Experience in related family Violence, child wellbeing or family services sector

•    Demonstrated ability to flexibly manage competing priorities and stressful situations, monitoring own stress levels and practising and promoting self-care strategies

•    Demonstrated well developed organisational and administrative skills, including ability to effectively manage time, and competing priorities

•    Ability to work collaboratively internally, with partner, stakeholders and the community 

•    Experience in holding a case load of clients across the community sector in either intake or case management
