On 1 January 2026 five health services (Kooweerup Regional Health Service, Peninsula Health, Alfred Health, Bass Coast Health and Gippsland Southern Health Service) will come together to create Bayside Health. A newly merged health service with more than 22,000 employees caring for a community of over 1.2 million Victorians.
The new health service will provide people with the best possible care with services that support them throughout their lives. The merger will also strengthen our workforce, providing new training, education and career opportunities. Subject to final approval on 1 January 2026, all employees from the five health services will transfer to Bayside Health.

What You Will Be Doing
The Child & Adolescent Unit is located within Frankston Hospital, located at Hastings Rd, Frankston. The Ward Clerk reports directly to the Child & Adolescent Nurse Unit Manager Unit (NUM) of the service where they are employed and is responsible for presenting a professional, welcoming and informative reception to patients and visitors within the unit. Additionally they provide efficient and effective general clerical support for ward staff respecting confidentiality at all times.

What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
• Ward clerk experience at administrative level
• Enjoys combining administrative processes and client interaction.
• Clearly explains information and listens to feedback and uses a polite and considerate manner
when dealing with others.
• Demonstrated competency in medical terminology.
• iPM, Oracle, Concerto and BEIMS Trained
• Strong verbal, writing and typing skills to 60 WPM
• Working with Children’s Check
