About Pharmacy
- The Pharmacy Department at Peninsula Health operates across four campuses – Frankston, Golf Links Road (Frankston), Mornington and Rosebud.
- Clinical Pharmacy services are provided from satellite pharmacies located in patient care areas.
- We are a forward thinking, innovative team providing extended scope of practice services such as Partnered Pharmacist Medicine Charting,
- Pharmacist initiated e-prescription transcription service and pharmacist-led inflammatory bowel disease ambulatory clinic.
- We value research to support advances in practice.
- Pharmacy services will expand with the completion of the Frankston Hospital redevelopment
What You Will Be Doing
Pharmacy provides a range of clinical and operational services in our acute, sub-acute, mental health and community health services, reporting through to the General Manager Emergency, ICU, Diagnostics and Pharmacy. Under the guidance of Associate Directors of Pharmacy, the rotational pharmacist will work closely with senior pharmacists and clinical educators to deliver safe, personal, effective and connected care to our patients.
Penisnula Health are seeking two permanent full time Grade 1 or 2 Operational Pharmacists.

What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
- Full Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA) registration with no restrictions to the scope of practice.
- Demonstrated adequate level of clinical knowledge of current drug usage, interactions and counselling.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Highly developed communication and liaison skills.
- Recent hospital pharmacy experience (desirable)

*Please refer to Victorian Public Health Sector (Medical Scientists, Pharmacists and Psychologists) 2021 - 2025 salary circular for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
