The Team & Role
This role responds to children with developmental delays, within the catchment, including disadvantaged communities, and involves:
- Conducting individual assessments and interventions
- Providing support to families and sector workers on the communication and developmental needs of children.
- A holistic, family-centred approach, informed by the social model of health
- Centre-based but may include outreach, consultancy, education, and group work.
- Facilitate referrals and linkages to other services.
- Contributes to the discipline group responsible for delivering and coordinating speech pathology services in a multidisciplinary setting
- Primarily based at Hastings with the possibility of work at other sites as per demand.

Skills & Experience Required
- Qualification in Speech Pathology and eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia
- Holder of a current Victorian Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Demonstrated experience providing evidence-based speech pathology services to children and their families within the community sector, including group work
