What You Will Be Doing
This crucial casual positionl facilitates quality Mens Behaviour Change Groups by working within a group context with men using violence to enhance the safety of women and children. This role will acknowledge and work with the understanding of violence as primarily being gender based whilst also holding the complexities of trauma and life experiences in a holistic approach to practice.

What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
• Tertiary Qualification in Social Work/Psychology/Social Science or related fields.
• Qualifications must align with the Mandatory Minimum Qualification Requirements for Specialist Family Violence Practitioner (Recommendation 209).
• Demonstrated skills and experience in group work facilitation
• Experience in completing risk assessments and safety planning with high-risk clients with complex needs using the Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management (MARAM) Frameworks and tools particularly the Adult’s Using Family Violence (AUFV)
• Demonstrated ability to work with difficult and complex clients to reduce risk and/or harm, using defusing, self-management and reflective practice.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based practice for working with men who use family violence and the impacts of family violence for family members and broader community.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively and effectively in all professional relationships, including co-facilitation.
