What You Will Be Doing  

The Senior Occupational Therapist is responsible for working with all members of the PPMS multi-disciplinary team, HIP Manager and stakeholders across Peninsula Health to ensure clients receive optimal occupational therapy intervention in persistent/chronic pain management. As a senior clinician, the Occupational Therapist also provides education to clinicians, students and other stakeholders and participates in programme evaluation.

What You Need 
We anticipate you will have: 
 •    General registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) 
•    Demonstrated post-graduate experience working in a clinical role, preferred previous experience working in a persistent pain management clinic
•    Proven ability to fulfil expectations in key areas including assessment, best practice treatment and contributing to the delivery of a multi-disciplinary persistent pain self-management program    
•    Demonstrated commitment to Professional Development relevant to pain management areas
•    Interest and/or experience in Quality improvement and research activities
•    Able to use basic computer programs and well developed report writing skills
•    Relevant post graduate qualifications or working towards the same    
•    Experience with group facilitation
