The Team & Role
We are seeking a Grade 1 NDIS Children’s Speech Pathologist to join our supportive, community-based team. This role works with children aged 0-18 years with developmental delay and disabilities who have NDIS funding, using a holistic, family-centred approach informed by the social model of health.
The position is predominantly community based, delivering assessment and evidence-based intervention in homes, schools, kindergartens and childcare settings across the Frankston City and Mornington Peninsula regions. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, continence nurses and allied health assistants to provide coordinated, high-quality care.
In addition to individual and group therapy, the role supports families and sector professionals through carer coaching, outreach, consultancy and group work, and assists with connecting families to other health, disability and education services.
You will join an organisation committed to excellence, innovation and being an employer of choice. We offer frequent clinical supervision, a structured and graded onboarding approach, and a supportive environment where you can build your skills, manage a varied caseload and make a meaningful, long-term difference in the lives of children and their families.
