The Team & Role
The NDIS Intake and Administration Officer is responsible for coordinating the participant journey from initial referral through to invoicing, ensuring the delivery of efficient, accurate and person-centred administrative support across NDIS services. The role serves as a key point of contact for participants, families, referrers, clinicians and external stakeholders, managing referrals, intake assessments, service agreements, waitlists, information management, invoicing, debt management and general office administration.
Working closely with the NDIS Support Services Team Leader, clinicians and program leadership, the position supports high-quality outcomes for NDIS participants by maintaining accurate information, resolving service-related issues, supporting participant choice and rights, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, a collaborative approach and a commitment to delivering responsive, participant-focused services.

Skills & Experience Required
- Knowledge of health and disability service systems and an ability to navigate effectively to get the best outcomes for people requiring assistance
- Good understanding of Microsoft Systems, including proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook and capacity to quickly learn new financial software systems
- Good time management skills with a commitment to meeting deadlines
- Able to build rapport and develop ongoing relationships with key stakeholders required to support administration processes
- Hold a current Victorian Working with Children Check
- Hold or able to attain a valid NDIS Worker Screening Check at your own cost, prior to employment commencing
