  • Classification: Occupational Therapist Grade 3, Year 1 - Year 4 (VG3 - VG6)* plus super

The Team & Role 

The Occupational Therapy Clinical Educator supports and facilitates staff development across all areas of Occupational Therapy practice, promoting excellence in patient‑centred, evidence‑based care. As a member of the Peninsula Health Occupational Therapy Leadership Team, the role contributes to the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of education and training. The position collaborates with the Learning Hub, Allied Health Education Leads, Clinical Educators, the Clinical Placement Coordinator and other stakeholders to deliver inclusive, engaging learning opportunities. It also mentors Occupational Therapists, supports inter‑professional education, and contributes to resources, policies and guidelines. The role actively fosters a culture of learning and supports workforce recruitment and retention strategies related to education and training.

Skills & Experience Required 

  • Registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (via AHPRA)
  • Eligibility for professional association membership with Occupational Therapy Australia
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering clinical education 
  • Additional qualifications or training relevant to education are highly (desirable)
