The Team & Role
Rosebud Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Patient Services Manager to join the leadership team in a permanent part time role working 56 hours per fortnight.
In this role you will be responsible for ensuring patient flow and providing leadership and support of Rosebud Hospital after hours and assuming overall responsibility for site management.
The primary responsibility involves monitoring the optimal utilisation of beds, overseeing general hospital operations and acting as a resource for all staff and to ensure adequate staffing of the clinical areas. The PSM assumes overall responsibility for Site Management. This includes ensuring the site has appropriately maintained services, fulfils its specific objectives in terms of OH&S and Infection Control, and has infrastructure that is effective and viable.
The PSM also assumes the role of Emergency Controller for the site to ensure appropriate responses to emergency situations.

Skills & Experience Required
•Current AHPRA Registered Nurse registration
•Proven leadership and ability to manage patient flow, staffing and incident management.
•Sound clinical knowledge, skills and experience in acute contemporary nursing practice
•Demonstrated high level of communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
•Demonstrated commitment to delivering high quality outcomes for consumers.
•Ability to work independently as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
•Recent NUM / ANUM experience within an acute setting or recent Emergency Department experience at a senior level. (Desirable)
