What You Will Be Doing
The Grade 2 Physiotherapist is responsible for working closely both within the Physiotherapy team and with the Rehabilitation team and maintains a focus on maximising discharge physical outcomes through individualised management programs for inpatients at the GLR campus.
The GLR campus comprises of two 20 bed inpatient rehabilitation wards. The role will provide physiotherapy and aquatic physiotherapy management to a mixed rehabilitation caseload, though with a substantial neurological rehabilitation component.
This role will also include supervision of undergraduate physiotherapy students, and support of grade 1 physiotherapists.

What You Need
• Current registration with AHPRA
• Ability to competently perform high quality physiotherapy assessment, treatment and patient management, including thorough and appropriate discharge planning
• Demonstrated experience and competence in physiotherapy assessment and treatment of inpatient rehabilitation clients, particularly those with neurological impairments
• Demonstrated experience in the supervision and education of physiotherapy staff and students
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous and innovative improvement through quality and research activities
Desirable
• Experience in Aquatic Physiotherapy
• Relevant post-graduate qualification or working towards the same

*Please refer to salary circular for Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021 – 2026 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
