What You Will Be Doing
The Acute Rehabilitation Program (ARP) is an interdisciplinary service that provides early rehabilitation in an acute setting. The Physiotherapists in the Acute Rehabilitation Program works with the multidisciplinary team to assist patients in regaining their function and independence and facilitate an early supported discharge home where appropriate.
The Grade 2 Physiotherapist works collaboratively with the Physiotherapy team and ARP multidisciplinary team to provide safe, personal, effective and connected rehabilitation services in the acute setting, supporting a patient centred goal setting approach to deliver high quality assessment, treatment, management and discharge planning .
Please note this position is available in a limited term part time capacity covering a vacancy resulting from a period of parental leave.

What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
• Degree level qualification in Physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration.
• Experience providing Physiotherapy assessment, treatment and patient management for rehabilitation patients within the inpatient health care setting (Acute/ Sub-Acute).
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team to achieve collaborative consumer focused goals.
• Experience in providing supervision to staff and students with an ability to promote professional competence and foster individual growth.
• Experience supporting complex care planning and discharge planning, including supporting others to navigate complex patient care.
