  • Permanent Part Time (48 hours per fortnight)

  • Classification: PM5 (Grade 4 Year 5*) plus super
  • Suitable for a senior psychologist with additional experience in delivering education and training, clinical supervision and a demonstrated commitment to workforce development.

Bayside Health was formed following the merger of Alfred Health, Bass Coast Health, Gippsland Southern Health Service, Kooweerup Regional Health Service and Peninsula Health on 1 January 2026.

 

The Team & Role

Bayside Health, Peninsula Care Group currently employs approximately 65 psychologists working across Mental Health, Community Health and acute/subacute services. The Psychology Clinical Educator is a member of the psychology education team that is responsible for designing, developing, implementing and evaluating teaching, education and professional development initiatives for psychologists across all Bayside Health, Peninsula Care Group. This includes supporting high quality professional supervision, online courses, live workshops and more, addressing the learning needs of postgraduate students, early career psychologists, and the broader psychology workforce. These programs are aimed at supporting capability development, including strengthening clinical skills to contribute to safe, person-centred care. The role may also contribute to the development of policies and guidelines and is expected to contribute to quality improvement and research activities relevant to psychology workforce capability development. Working in partnership with the Principal Psychology Educator, the Learning Hub Educators and other key stakeholders, the Psychology Clinical Educator will also support opportunities for inter-professional learning and supervision where relevant.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Masters or Doctoral qualification in Clinical Psychology
  • Hold current general registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA with an Area of Practice Endorsement in Clinical Psychology
  • Be a board-approved supervisor and Registrar program principal supervisor for Clinical Psychology
  • Minimum of 8 year’s experience working as a generally registered psychologist
  • Psychology Clinical Educator experience or experience in education and training is desired
  • A valid Victorian driver’s licence
