Bayside Health was formed following the merger of Alfred Health, Bass Coast Health, Gippsland Southern Health Service, Kooweerup Regional Health Service and Peninsula Health on 1 January 2026.
The Team & Role
The Registered Nurse will be required to work in the Infusion Centre. The Registered Nurse (RN) is a valued and integral member of the Peninsula Health multidisciplinary team demonstrating flexibility in caring for patients and their families across the organisation. The RN works competently within their scope of practice to deliver safe, evidence based person centred care.
The Infusion centre delivers a range of same day services such as blood and iron infusions, medication infusions, and small procedures including trial of void. The service operates from 0800 – 1630 Monday – Friday and is closed on public holidays. There is a capacity of 10 recliner chairs and 2 beds plus seating capacity for transiting patients. Currently there are approximately 250 patient contacts per month.

Skills & Experience Required
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
- Completion of a graduate year program.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering high quality outcomes for consumers.
- Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills commensurate with experience and scope of practice.
- Completion of a Central Venous Access Device recognised course.
- Venepuncture skills.
