The Team & Role 

Advance your skills in this exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to upskill in Research!  This is a fixed term part time role working 32 hours per fortnight until 5 November 2026.

The Clinical Research Nurse will work within Thoracic Medicine, contributing to a dynamic and evolving clinical research environment. The role involves close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including research study coordinators, medical staff, respiratory scientists, clerical staff, and the local research office. 

The scope and volume of research activities may vary in line with the changing priorities and study portfolio of the clinical research unit.

In addition to research responsibilities, the Clinical Research Nurse will support the Severe Asthma Clinic, overseeing patients undergoing treatment with monoclonal antibody therapies for severe asthma. This includes coordinating care, monitoring treatment progress, and supporting patient management within a specialised clinical setting.

Skills & Experience Required 

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Previous experience in Research is desirable 
  • Demonstrated research/clinical trial co- ordination skills including knowledge of TGA ICH-GCP Guidelines and relevant regulatory/statutory guidelines
