The Team & Role
The Registered Undergraduate Student of Nursing (RUSON) role provides support to the Nursing team in the delivery of safe, personal, effective and connected care. The RUSON is required to work under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse at all times, within their level of education and assessed competencies and also under clearly defined role parameters.
Bayside Health will provide orientation and training to enable you to fulfil your role as a Registered Undergraduate Student of Nursing.
The position is based at all sites; Peninsula University Hospital, The Mornington Centre, Golf Links Road, Rosebud Hospital and Frankston Private Surgical Centre. You will be required to travel and work across all sites.
This role is Afternoon and Night duty shifts only.

Skills & Experience Required
We anticipate you will have:
- Successful completion of first year undergraduate Nursing qualification
- Registered as a student nurse with AHPRA with no conditions or undertakings
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including relationship building, cooperation and conflict resolution
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner with a wide range of people, including co-workers, health professionals, residents and family members
- Ability to work across all Peninsula Care Group sites
