What You Will Be Doing  
We require a Locum Rehabilitation Physician to work across acute and subacute campuses at the Golf Links Road Rehabilitation Unit and Frankston Hospital. The Rehabilitation Physician will be working with a multidisciplinary team. The position will be located primarily at Frankston Hospital performing acute patient assessments at Frankston Hospital (SAAS) and at the Golf Links Road Rehabilitation Unit outpatient clinics.
What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
MB BS or equivalent degree
General registration as a Medical Practitioner with the AHPRA without reprimands.
Fellow of Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (FAFRM).
Relevant track record and experience in clinical management.
Sound clinical knowledge, skills and experience in contemporary medical and evidence based practice.
Ability to work as an effective member of a multidisciplinary clinical team
Teaching skills
Patient safety and quality review knowledge and skills.
Thorough understanding of relevant legislation pertaining to Medical Officers
Desirable Criteria #1 (desirable)
High level interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in the community care and aged care setting
Commitment to the Core Values and Of Peninsula Health
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Current Drivers Licence recognised in Australia
