On 1 January 2026 five health services (Kooweerup Regional Health Service, Peninsula Health, Alfred Health, Bass Coast Health and Gippsland Southern Health Service) intend to come together to create Bayside Health. A newly merged health service with more than 22,000 employees caring for a community of over 1.2 million Victorians. The new health service will provide people with the best possible care with services that support them throughout their lives.
The merger will also strengthen our workforce, providing new training, education and career opportunities. On 1 January 2026, all employees from the five health services will become part of Bayside Health.
The Team Leader, in conjunction with the Team Manager and Consultant Psychiatrist, are responsible for the provision of high quality clinical leadership, monitoring and evaluation of clinical services to clients, their families and carers. The Team Leader in conjunction with the Team Manager is responsible for ensuring operational outcomes in relation to financial and human resource management, operational targets and key performance indicators.
What You Need
We anticipate you will:
- Be a Registered Nurse, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist of Clinical Psychologist with relevant registration.
- RPN Only: Post graduate qualification in Mental Health or completion of a specialist undergraduate Mental Health program.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the mental health field including acute inpatient services and/or community mental health care
- Demonstrated management and leadership experience
